POLYDUR RANGE
Polyester coatings (PE/UPE) have a high solids content of over 90%. They're ideal for closed-pore coating systems, where a very thick surface can be achieved in just a few steps. The cured surfaces are resistant to scratches and abrasions, as well as a variety of solvents. PE/UPE coatings have a pot life of 30-60 minutes, depending on the coating. They need to be applied in a temperature-controlled environment of between 20°C and 25°C and must not be processed in the same spraying booth as NC coatings due to the fire risk.
